Meet the CoSolo Founder

A NAME FOR A DIFFERENT WAY TO BUILD

CoSolo Founder / co · solo /

A solo founder who leads their own venture as part of a collective of founders who actively contribute to one another’s growth and businesses, often with shared financial interests.

You can retain sole ownership. You might build partnerships or find a co-founder along the way. Independence and meaningful collaboration can grow together.

WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE

Your own direction.
A wider world to draw from.

01 / SHARED KNOWLEDGE

More signal.
Less figuring it out alone.

AI moves quickly. Sorting useful developments from impressive claims can consume the time you meant to spend building.

A collective can spread that effort: compare what people have actually tried, understand where it works, learn from failed attempts, and carry useful knowledge into the next decision.

Learn from more than your own experience.

02 / STRONGER JUDGMENT

Steel sharpens steel.

Ambitious peers bring different skills, sharper questions and perspectives you wouldn’t reach alone. Challenge each other’s thinking, then turn it into something useful.

03 / REAL CONNECTION

Founding can be lonely.

Have people who understand the uncertainty, care about your progress, and share the pressure and enjoyment of building. Relationships deepen when you do real work together.

04 / CAPABILITY

Build on what others know.

Shared skills, tools and practical lessons can save repeated work and make more ambitious ideas possible.

05 / OPPORTUNITY

Know people. Discover possibilities.

Your network becomes more valuable when you know what people can do—and they know what you can do. Collaborators, co-founders and new ideas can emerge.

06 / SHARED UPSIDE

Choose how you build together.

Some relationships develop into shared financial interests. Equity and other arrangements are possibilities, not a requirement of participation.

THE ENVIRONMENT MATTERS

Independence.
Participation.
Both.

Competition pushes you to improve. Cooperation expands what you can achieve. Shared interests give you reasons to want each other to win.

That takes people willing to contribute, hear difficult feedback, defend their judgment and change their minds.

The CoSolo community taking shape here is built around a contribution of time: valuable conversations, challenges and opportunities to work together. The formats and commitment are still being developed.

You choose to participate. Shared ownership is optional.

A FEW USEFUL DISTINCTIONS

Room to find
your own way.

Do I need an established business?

This starts with aspiring and early-stage founders, including people exploring what to build. Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to contribute matter alongside experience.

Do I have to stay a solo founder?

No. Some people may find a co-founder through the group. CoSolo describes a way to build with others while pursuing your own direction; it doesn’t require your founding team to stay the same.

Is shared equity required?

No. You can retain sole ownership. Any shared financial arrangement would be a separate choice between the people involved.

What happens when I sign up?
